Taylor Lethbridge is a Cambridge, Ontario luthier working at the intersection of historical craft, acoustic science, and fine art. He built his first violins in 2012 and went all-in after leaving a commercial kitchen career to care for his wife following her double lung transplant in 2016.

Every violin is built by hand from carefully-selected timber, and finished with hand-brewed historical varnishes. His instruments have won regional competitions, and his knowledge of tradition shapes every tap-tuned plate and hand-worn finish.

In 2021, his warmly goofy TikTok tutorials earned him thousands of followers and a CTV Kitchener News feature. A one-man operation, Taylor is passionately devoted to the art, science, and history of the violin family.
